Gary Iskra is the accounting and auditing director for Isler CPA, overseeing quality control and management of the A & A practice.  Gary focuses on audits of tribal governments, gaming municipalities, nonprofit organizations, employee benefit plans, and research institutions.  Most of Gary’s government and nonprofit audits fall under the requirements of the Single Audit Act and the OMB Super Circular. 

Along with performing audit services, Gary has performed several non-traditional services, including software consulting, construction cost analysis, forensic investigations, and mergers and acquisitions due diligence.  Gary is a frequent presenter of continuing education material and received an award for Outstanding Contribution to Public Finance by the Oregon Municipal Finance Officers Association.

  • Gary and his wife Beth enjoy cooking together, gardening, cycling, and socializing with friends.  In 2008 and 2013 they motorcycle toured the Balkans from Slovenia to Montenegro.  Gary and Beth have two adult children who still enjoy family time, despite living in other parts of the country.
